Housed in one of the heritage-listed cottages built in 1902 within the town's Maritime Precinct, this volunteer-run museum traces South West Rocks' seafaring past. This striking 1886 sandstone gaol sits inside Arakoon National Park on the shores of Trial Bay. Built by inmates constructing a breakwater, it later served as an internment camp during World War I.
